November Challenge #30DayFlip “All Things Holidays” Results

The November #30dayflip challenge for last month was to show off your holiday decorating ideas.

I loved this challenge, as it inspired me to get in the holiday spirit in full force. Thank you as always to Jeanette from Snazzy Little Things and Meredith from Arts and Classy for hosting this amazing group.

Next, we’re going to visit the adorable holiday nook, which belongs to Lauren from the blog SAHM I am. She put together these cute paper decorations including an advent calendar, artwork and festive banner.

Here is the advent calendar complete with customized envelopes and a personalized activity written on the back for the kids. How sweet <3

This banner is simply genius, and I’m loving the font Lauren used to write out NOEL.

Lauren also made this 12×12 custom holiday art work to display in her holiday nook.

She then went on to make this little stack of presents using the same scrapbook papers to create place card holders for her holiday table. Omg!!! When can I come over?

Lauren also whipped up these gift bags using scrapbook paper, cardstock and some embellishments. Great job Lauren; I’m truly inspired.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the November “All Things Holidays” #30dayflip Challenge.

Here are some of the amazing projects completed by some of our talented group members of the DIY Forum:

This cute placemat was made into an adorable Thanksgiving pillow by Debra.

Micheline made these holiday log friends from birch logs, which were cut on an angle. How cute would these be on a front porch to greet guests?

Hand painted snow man by Micheline. Another piece of wonderful porch decor.

Another beautiful project by DIY Forum member, Micheline. What a great idea to use a sled to display greenery.

Micheline also made this Santa from a fence board. I’m amazed by her talent and creativity.

Deni’s Christmas mantle. I simply love how the holiday artwork rounds out the display.

Her cute snowman made from a scrap piece of wood also adorns Deni’s fireplace.

She also made this sweet snowman for a local craft show. I love his scarf. Great work Deni

More hand painted bird houses Deni completed for her craft show. I love the crab.

Melanie put together this beautiful NOEL sign to use as holiday decor and a centerpiece for the table. The rustic letters paired with the elegant ribbons and bows are simply perfect.

Here are some pine cone candle holders I made recently. These would work well for a Thanksgiving or Christmas tablescape; or perhaps a modern take on a menorah.

Anissa spray painted cinder blocks and placed big bows on top to make them look like giant presents. What a great way to decorate outdoors.

One of our lovely hostess’ Jeanette from Snazzy Little Things completed a gorgeous holiday centerpiece and mantle display using silver, white, and greenery.

Marie put together these amazing sweater pumpkins and made a display with dried hydrangeas. I love these color tones.

Marie also shared this cute holiday replica of her grandparents cottage. I love the nostalgia of this display, and can tell it holds a special sentimental value for Marie. So sweet.

Joann finished off her powder room, just in time for Thanksgiving guests.

Joann then decorated a little fall tree to welcome guests for Thanksgiving.

What’s the best part of a fall tree, you ask? When it can easily transition into a Christmas tree!!!! Wonderful and versatile. Great work, Joann.

Don’t have a fireplace? No problem. Caitlin built this one for a whopping $8.00. Wow!!!! Wonderful job on the bricks. I love how it turned out.

Cathie decorated a tree for a Christmas display using gold and silver with a shimmery and beautiful result.

Lastly, I want to show you the amazing tree modification made by Melanie. She used a standard tree, put it on a rotating tree stand, and added her Christmas village. It’s positively amazing. My kids would LOVE this tree.
