It’s getting to be that time where it is really starting to feel like fall! Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love the fashion, the decor, & the festivities that go along with it. But I really love it because I usually reconnect with friends this time of year. A lot of birthday’s, holidays, aka lots of parties, dinners, and drinks! SO let’s make your balcony look cozy!

Since the weather is cooling down it time to snuggle up next to a warm fireplace or heater while enjoying your balcony! With the following 7 tips, you can create a cozy and entertainment friendly balcony space. Perfect time to start before the holidays get into full swing.

1. Add some fun lighting.

This can be string lights, candles, or lanterns. Have fun with this and give your balcony some ambience and personality! You will likely be more drawn to hang outside if you give it a makeover to suite your needs.

2. Create a garden or some plants to add a touch of nature to create harmony.

You can create a little herb garden to save money at the grocery store, or just plant some ivy or flowers to bring your balcony to life. Using vertical space is key.

3. Make sure you have cozy seating space.

Creating a cozy welcoming space that relaxes you is key. If you don’t like the space you won’t spend time there. Make it an extension of your living room communal space. That way you can entertain there as well. This also goes for small spaces. You can make it work.

5. Hang a hammock to lounge on.

Hammocks are the most relaxing form of seating you can add to your balcony space. What better place to curl up with a good book and a glass of wine than in a cozy hammock?

6. Add a table if you can to create a communal place to have coffee or a meal at.
