The best part about this project is that it’s totally customizable. You can use any color of yarn you like and make the wreath as big or as small as you want. So why not give it a try? Deck the halls with a festive arm knitted wreath this year!
Step 1 – Select Materials
Start with chunky knit yarn for this Christmas wreath. Create a new loop and make a slip knot to begin.
Step 2 – Create a Long Crocheted Row Chain with Yarn
Grab the free strand of your working yarn and pull it through the loop and form another loop. Repeat this step until you have a chain the length of the wreath of your jumbo giant yarn.
Step 3 – Attach to Wreath Round with Hot Glue Gun
Cut the ends of the yarn and place your arm-knitted chain on top of the wreath and secure it with your glue gun to it stays in place.
Step 4 – Use Plastic Ornaments to Add Festive Holiday Decor
Place plastic ornament on your wreath with a hot glue gun.
Step 5 – Add Ribbon to the Wreath
Once you are happy with the placement of the ornaments, take your burlap ribbon and create a pretty bow. Attach it to the wreath under the ornaments (or wherever you choose) with a hot glue gun.ย
Step 6 – The Finishing Touches
Finesse the yarn and make sure the ribbon is laying the way you want. Hang somewhere indoors as beautiful and festive holiday decor.
